Donation of a Classroom Block Project

The AM570 Cycling Challenge has donated a fully furnished two-classroom block to Kgosimpe Junior Secondary School in Jwaneng. The handover took place with Honourable Dr. Douglas Letsholathebe, Minister of Education and Skills Development, and represents a project valued at P750,000.

The AM570 Cycling Challenge was a fundraising event featuring a 570km ride by Albertinah Milton (widow of Albert Milton) and Rod Dixon (Majwe Mining Director), symbolizing each decade of Milton’s life. The challenge successfully raised P2.7 million.

Ms. Sesolo Robert from the AM570 board emphasized that the challenge was created to give back to Jwaneng and surrounding villages. She noted that this partnership with the Ministry aims to support students and schools in need, with this classroom block being just the beginning of their charitable efforts.

Hon. Dr. Letsholathebe expressed deep gratitude for the donation, highlighting its role in supporting the Ministry’s efforts to improve education and meet Sustainable Development Goal 4.
