for 4 years from 2012 to 2016. Nigel also chaired the World Bank Doing Business – Paying Taxes subcommittee of the Doing Business Committee housed at the Ministry of Trade and Investment.
Nigel currently serves on the Board of Prime Time Holdings Ltd (listed property fund on the Botswana Stock Exchange), the Board of Bank Gaborone Limited (unlisted member of the Capricorn Holdings Group) and as the Independent Tax and Risk Advisor to the Aleyo Growth Fund, a private equity fund based in Botswana Nigel continues to serve on the BICA Tax Committee.

Nigel has 30 years of tax, accounting, audit and advisory experience both in the private and public sectors, of which 24 were with KPMG in Botswana where Nigel served as Country Senior Partner until September 2018 with delivery responsibilities for Tax and Advisory Services.
In recent years he has focused on tax advisory, corporate restructuring and insolvency. Nigel operates DWA as a Tax and Corporate Advisory firm through which he continues to provide the above services.
Nigel has served on a number of high profile boards and sub-committees which include the Council of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA) where he served as President in 2010-2011, The Board of Air Botswana where he served as Chairman between 2012 and 2015, the Board of the Botswana Accountancy College as Director and Vice-Chairman for 11 years ending 2020 and was a member of the Botswana Economic Advisory Council (Chaired by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Botswana)
