Mrs. Milton is deeply passionate about the well-being of youth. She has coached athletics, mentored countless young individuals, and has been actively involved in several charitable projects, leveraging her expertise to ensure that children have a better future. Her philanthropic efforts are driven by her passion for uplifting lives and creating meaningful change in communities. She is a passionate advocate for gender-based violence (GBV) awareness and has labeled it as one of the most prevalent human rights violations. She believes that to tackle GBV successfully, society must change and remove the secrecy surrounding the issue.
As the founder of The Albert Milton Foundation, Mrs. Milton continues to honour the legacy of her late husband, Albert Milton, by giving back to the community. Mrs. Milton’s efforts have raised substantial funds for community interventions, ensuring that children and families have a brighter future, further inspiring others to give back and make a lasting impact.

Mrs. Albertinah Milton is a distinguished educator, consultant, and philanthropist with over 20 years of experience in the teaching profession. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Plymouth and has since made significant contributions to the field of education and beyond.
During her teaching career, Mrs. Milton served as a senior marker and moderator and was an active member of several committees and sub-committees. She is a certified marker for O Level Cambridge in Art and Design and a certified trainer of school leadership through the British Council. Her passion for education and global collaboration led her to introduce the “Connecting Classrooms” initiative, which fostered partnerships between students in Botswana and the UK.
This initiative has been instrumental in developing global knowledge and skills, preparing students to be better global citizens and equipping them for a global economy. “Education is a powerful tool for changing the world,” she believes, “and through Connecting Classrooms, schools in Botswana can greatly benefit from partnerships with students outside the country, particularly in the UK.”
Beyond her teaching career, Mrs. Milton has worked as a consultant for the British Council, specializing in school leadership, marketing, and communication. Her expertise and dedication have significantly impacted the educational landscape in Botswana and beyond.
